Luncheon Meeting
Thursday, November 19, 2009
President Judy Herron called the meeting to order at 11:30 a.m. Judy welcomed the members
to the luncheon and the annual craft show.
Vice President, Sharon Gatz, led the members in the Pledge of Allegiance.
Hospitality Director, Terry Drury, introduced and welcomed the following new members:
Jane Dion, Myrt Russell, Cindy Over, Pat O’Neil-Moergeli, Joanne Forbis, and Deanna Egelson.
The two winners of the 50/25/25 drawing were Louise Michael and Wanda Lamar receiving $62.00 each. This month’s winner of the name tag drawing for new members was Jane Dion. She was given a copy of the Citrus Newcomers Club Cookbook. The winner of the name tag drawing for existing members was Sandy Anderson who received a $10.00 gift card.
Vice President, Activities, Margaret Nesbitt outlined upcoming activities.
Judy thanked everyone for attending the luncheon and reminded members that the December meeting will be a brunch at Black Diamond Country Club on December 10, 2009. The brunch will begin at 10:00 a.m. and members should arrive by 9:30 a.m. Judy reminded members to get their reservations in immediately. Club members are encouraged to bring a toy and a can of food to this event. Judy further reminded members of the Holiday Dinner Dance to be held December 11, 2009, at Inverness Country Club. Members were asked to get their reservations in ASAP.
The luncheon adjourned at 12:50 p.m.
